The 2007/2008 season started with a memorable World Cup in France, where England narrowly missed out on regaining the trophy after losing to South Africa in the final. England must now take the positives from the tournament into the Six Nations this February and try to emulate their success of 2003. The hosts France will be looking to revenge their defeat to England in the semi finals with a triumphant RBS Six Nations campaign and Ireland; eliminated in the group stage will be looking to get back to winning ways as well.
