For recent events, including 2006 FIFA World Cup, Active have established a dedicated service management team for clients including Microsoft Xbox.

Case Study: Microsoft Xbox

As official licensed console to FIFA World Cup 2006, Microsoft Xbox secured an allocation of both tickets and hospitality packages across all 12 venues throughout Germany for all 64 matches.

Having worked with Active Sports Marketing for a number of years, Microsoft Xbox approached Active Hospitality & Events Division with a brief to handle the entire process from the application from territories for specific inventory to the ground handling of staff and guests in Germany to ensure that their experience was both memorable and problem - free.

Active handled over 900 Xbox employees and guests from 32 countries across 6 continents in 4 weeks, in a project that began in December 2005 and ran until August 2006.

During that time Active were responsible for the procurement, delivery & management of:

• Tickets & hospitality package allocation & distribution
• Search, selection & booking of all international and domestic flights and transfers
• Search, selection, booking & confirmation of all accommodation
• Ground handling & event management in Germany
• Dedicated territory helpline for all staff & guests attending in Germany
